Mubin Abduvaliev

Dr. Mubin Abduvaliev is a scholar and expert in the fields of regional integration, regional economic development, institutional development, migration, and financial inflows (remittances, aid, foreign direct investment), particularly focusing on Central Asia and its broader implications. He has served as a consultant and soft component coordinator for the Asian Development Bank’s projects, European Education and Culture Executive Agency, the World Bank, the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating of Kazakhstan, the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia, and the OSI Foundation. Dr. Abduvaliev earned his MS Degree from the Sumy State University (Ukraine) and a Ph.D. from the University of Basque Country UPV/EHU, Spain (cum laude). His graduate studies were supported by the Fulbright Visiting Scholar (University of Nebraska), Erasmus (University of L'Aquila, Italy; University of Middlesex, London), International Visiting Leadership Program (The George Washington University), Asian Development Bank – Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Institute Fellow (China), and Belt and Road Initiative - Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
