Belt and Road Initiative
This map highlights projects part of the Belt and Road Initiative supported by Chinese funders, including government agencies and state-owned companies. Types collected from Reconnecting Asia Project Database, AIDDATA GeoQuery, Boston University Global China Dataset, and NYU Shanghai are divided into three major categories and those doesn’t fall into these three categories has been grouped under “others”. As Map Version 1.0, it is undergoing quality assurance (no liability for data usage, please report data issues).
The project information is collected from Hong Kong institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong, Reconnecting Asia Project Database, AIDDATA GeoQuery, Boston University Global China Dataset, and NYU Shanghai. The satellite images are acquired from Landsat, Sentinel, and VIIRS by NYU Shanghai. As Map Version 1.0, it is undergoing quality assurance (no liability for data usage, please report data issues).
